Livcost provides cost-of-living estimates for informational purposes only. Our calculations do not constitute financial, legal, tax, immigration, or professional advice. Every person's situation is different, city costs change, and exchange rates fluctuate. Always verify figures independently before making relocation, financial, or life decisions.
Data accuracy
City data is compiled from multiple sources including World Bank PPP data, public institutional sources, and firsthand research. Data is updated quarterly. Currency rates are updated daily via the Frankfurter API. All figures are approximate and subject to change. We make no guarantee of completeness or accuracy.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site, particularly in the Relocation Kit, are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never affects our recommendations or editorial independence. We only recommend tools we have actually used.
No account required
Livcost does not require user accounts. All calculator inputs are stored locally in your browser via session cookies. Because we do not authenticate users, we cannot guarantee the persistence of your data across sessions or devices.

All content, city notes, data compilations, calculators, and original writing on Livcost belong to Livcost and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, scrape, or redistribute our data or content without written permission. City cost data and methodology are proprietary.
Updates and changes
We reserve the right to update data, features, and these terms at any time without notice. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.
Limitation of liability
Livcost and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or reliance on its estimates. You use Livcost entirely at your own risk.
